Terms and Conditions

Last Modified: October 27, 2011

By Registering Your Diamond, and/or Updating Your Registration, and/or Reporting Your Diamond Lost/Stolen to Gemprint Corp ("Gemprint" or "we") for the Gemprint® Registry, you attest to being the rightful owner of the registered property. You agree that, in the event of loss, theft or allegation of fraud in respect to the registered property, Gemprint Corp. may disclose information you provide to third parties such as law enforcement and insurance agencies for the purpose of assisting in the recovery of the owner’s registered property.

When Gemprint is notified of a Lost/Stolen diamond, we will inform the proper industry organizations of the loss and will monitor all diamonds processed by Gemprint for potential matches. If a Lost/Stolen diamond is recovered, the last person to Register the Diamond will be contacted and asked to provide proof of ownership, in the form of a detailed sales receipt, insurance policy, or similar documentation, before proceeding. Submitting information to Gemprint and for the purpose of Registering Your Diamond, and/or Updating Your Registration, and/or Reporting Your Diamond Lost or Stolen does not provide proof of ownership. A detail history of the Gemprint® Registry database and any information you provide will be provided to third parties such as law enforcement and insurance agencies for the purpose of proving ownership of the registered property.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Please note that we will not share your personal information (whether collected online or offline) with any third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

We may sometimes use other businesses to perform certain services for us, such as processing orders and delivering our products, sending postal mail and providing marketing assistance and data analysis. Finally, we reserve the right to disclose visitor information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other visitors, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. This includes our right to exchange information with other organizations in order to protect against fraud and to reduce credit risk.
